He felt like a junky off of his fix right now. No Internet, no computer. His entire sense of being was ripped away all because of that jackass. If he had Internet he wouldn’t mind probably wouldn’t mind staying here, he’d lived in worse conditions before. He wanted a goddamn computer. Thinking about how badly he wanted to get online was making his eye twitch. His fingers were also eagerly drumming the sides of his legs like he was typing. He let out an irritated sigh and rolled out of bed, not bothering to make it and leaving the blankets tossed aside. Yawning loudly he scratched his head, running his fingers through his tangled hair and padding over to get some clean clothes. A pair of old, tattered jeans and a black tee shirt later he was grabbing his thick, black glasses and hearing aids and leaving the bedroom.
His batteries were dead so Sebastian was stuck in complete silence; not like it bothered him, he was used to it by now. He had learned to cope with being deaf at an early age. Besides, it wasn’t like he had gone deaf, he was born like that. He didn’t know what it was like to hear, even with the hearing aids. They didn’t really do much for him in his opinion. He could still barely hear anything with them in, just loud noises. What was the point in having them if they did barely nothing? Either way he needed to find some batteries, which was a bit of a pain in the ass.
His hands were in his pockets as he walked, smoky blue eyes staring straight ahead and a cold and uninterested look on his face. He hadn’t bothered to comb through his hair so it was a matted mess framing his face. Strands fell in his eyes but he didn’t bother to remove them, knowing they would just fall back later. He was too busy thinking, calculating and analyzing to care about what his hair was doing. The study seemed like a promising place to find batteries. It was filled with electronics, just not ones with Internet. He really needed to stop thinking about the Internet and find a distraction. There was a library but he hated reading, animal pens but he didn’t like going outside, a music room but he was deaf. All he really had to do was watch television but he didn’t like that either. The pool, that was about all he had to do here.
He opened the door sluggishly and let it hit the wall as he entered the Study, feeling the noise rather than hearing it. His eyes surveyed the room, falling on each object but skipping past the books. He immediately started looking for a gadget that might require the same size of battery that he needed. He waked over and picked one up, not caring to look at what it was exactly, and started working at taking it apart for his own gain. Sitting on the floor with his legs crossed and back to the door Seb was in his own silent world of personal gain.
